I'm sorry to pass on the word that pioneering indy comics publisher Kim Thompson has passed away. His work on The Comics Journal, Amazing Heroes, and countless groundbreaking titles for Fantagraphics Books has had a deep and lasting impact on both the industry and the artform. Deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
