Bob Oksner, R.I.P.

Mark Evanier is reporting the sad news that veteran cartoonist Bob Oksner has passed away. He did great work on everything from Bob Hope to Superman. Oksner was especially regarded for his depictions of beautiful women -- his renditions of Supergirl, Mary Marvel, and Angel O'Day were the epitome of wholesome, girl-next-door sexiness. He was one of the greats.
