Today's pick is...

The Editorial Cartoons of Jim Borgman
Most people probably know Borgman as the artist of the strip "Zits", but before that, he was the editorial cartoonist for my hometown paper, the Cincinnati Enquirer. Even then, he had a knack for gags and slapstick, but also a great ability to boil complex issues down to their essence. His liberal bent sometimes ruffled feathers at the conservative-leaning Enquirer, but trying to replace or restrain him was unthinkable...he was just too good.
