I can relate, somewhat. I'm kind of a hermit by nature, and not the greatest at public speaking, so being thrust out into a big mob of humanity for two or three days can be pretty stressful. On the other hand, it is great to see old friends, meet creators you admire, and so on. The good outweighs the bad, but there's definitely a little dread there.
In any event, I plan to be at Wizard World Chicago in August. Come by artist alley and watch me twitch and sweat. SPX and Mid-Ohio are likely as well, although I don't know if I'll be getting a table. Probably just wander around.
