The countdown of favorite penciller/inker teams continues! The Comic Book Resources thread is here. My pick for Day 4 is below...

George Perez / Jerry Ordway - Perez is one of those artists whose style is so distinctive that he's almost "inker-proof". But I distinctly remember noticing the difference on Crisis on Infinite Earths, when Dick Giordano (who certainly did an excellent job) was replaced by Jerry Ordway halfway through. It was a subtle thing, but Ordway had a softer, more organic look to his lines, and it added a certain warmth to Perez's figures. The faces, especially, seemed more expressive and "alive". It was a great combination.
