The CBR thread is here. And my pick for today is...

Mike Zeck / Gene Day - Gene Day's slick, moody inking made any penciller look better, but I was especially impressed by his work with Mike Zeck on Master of Kung Fu. Zeck excelled at action, and Day provided the exotic atmosphere, producing the comics equivalent of a classic martial arts flick. Whether Shang-Chi was karate-kicking evil cultists or pondering the meaning of life, Zeck and Day kept the drama dialed up to "11".
