More favorite penciller / inker teams!

Curt Swan / Al Williamson - Swan was a favorite of mine since I was a little kid, but I have to admit, as the '70s gave way to the '80s, I started taking him a little bit for granted, and even thought that maybe he was starting to lose his mojo. But as it turned out, all it took was the right inker to come along and give his pencils some TLC. Williamson's precise, subtle ink work gave Swan a new freshness, and I remembered why I fell in love with his art in the first place.
