Mr. Roboto
Amanda Waller briefed the Squad on a U.S. spy satellite that had been knocked out of orbit. It was unknown whether the satellite had merely collided with a stray meteor, or if there was a more sinister cause. In any event, it was the team's job to retrieve it before some foreign power got ahold of it.
Unfortunately, the satellite had come down on a remote piece of land in the Pacific Ocean known as "Dinosaur Island", where prehistoric life-forms still lived and thrived.
A series of planes and ships got the team within striking distance of the island, and they made it the rest of the way via a couple of inflatable rubber boats. Once they reached the shore, they spotted what appeared to be a crash site, not far inland.
However, instead of a terran satellite, they saw the wreckage of an alien spacecraft. The inhabitants were climbing out of some kind of suspended animation tubes, surveying the damage to their ship and arguing over who thought it was a good idea to rely on the auto-pilot, and why they chose Earth as a place to hide out in the first place. They also noted that their "loot" was missing, and, seeing the Squad arrive, assumed they were the ones who took it. Not waiting to ask questions, the aliens attacked.

The group of space pirates consisted of two Martians: the mentalist Vulkor and a ten-foot-tall robot called Tor; Xanadar of the planet Pluto, and a fourth simply known as the Mercurian (Captain Republican: "Does he have Baby Yoda with him?"). But the aliens' exotic ray guns (including Xanadar's shrink ray) proved to be mostly ineffective against the Earthmen, and the Squad soon subdued them. They deduced that the ship was what had collided with the satellite, crippling both, and that some third party had made off with both the satellite and the pirates' loot.
[Loot Drops: Tor's Belt (Heightened Attack), Vulkor's Helmet (Mental Blast).]
Heading further inland, the Squad came upon a strange sight: a group of several different species of dinosaurs were gathered around a mysterious, glowing machine, regarding it with almost religious awe. Leading the "worship" was a bizarre half-man, half-dinosaur calling himself Tyrano Rex. Upon spotting the Squad, he ordered his minions -- a Pterodactyl, a Stegosaurus, a Triceratops, and a Tyrannosaurus Rex -- to attack.

The native Earth beasts fared a bit better than the alien pirates had, their tough hides and vicious claws, teeth, and horns giving the Squad a rough time. Moreover, the guidance of their leader Tyrano Rex allowed them to fight more effectively than they would have normally [Heightend Expertise, Usable on Others]. At one point, Bucky was knocked unconscious after one too many whacks from the Stegosaurus' tail. Tyrano Rex kept jumping from the back of one dino to the next in order to direct them, but Captain Republican clambered up after him and managed to take him out. Without their leader, the beasts were much less effective, and the team managed to subdue or drive away the rest of them.
The machine that the dinosaurs had been worshipping was some sort of genetic manipulator (no doubt responsible for the creation of Tyrano Rex), part of the aliens' loot. There was still no sign of the satellite, however.
[Loot Drops: Pterodactyl's Wings (Armor, Flight), Tyrano Rex's Evolution Machine (Lets player re-roll Abilities).]
The further inland the team went, the denser the jungle grew, and the more difficult travel became. It took two days of searching to finally come across a large encampment near the center of the island. There they spotted the crashed satellite, guarded by the notorious mercenaries called the Royal Flush Gang (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten). Their employer was a twenty-foot-tall giant calling himself Master Macabre, a South American criminal with political aspirations, who hoped to use the technology and information in the satellite to expand his power. Finding the treasures on the alien ship was a bonus. He'd already used one item to turn himself into a giant, and was studying another, a glowing orb with the ability to fire beams of force. Wasting no time, the Squad sprang to the attack.

The Royal Flush Gang flitted around the battlefield on flying platforms made to look like playing cards. Their main weapons were likewise playing cards with the ability to actualize their symbolic meanings. For instance, the 9 of Diamonds, representing "travel", caused Mr. Roboto to be teleported 250 feet into the air, only to immediately come crashing back down. While the 3 of Clubs, symbolizing "generosity", forced Captain Republican to temporarily stop fighting and begin handing over his equipment to the King. But in the end, the Royal Flush Gang were little more than an annoyance, and were quickly dealt with.
Major Macabre was another story. Huge and powerful, he dealt out heavy damage with both his oversized fists and the glowing alien orb. But the Squad rallied, bringing to bear many of the weapons they'd confiscated from enemies in previous battles, and managed to bring the giant to his knees. The satellite was recovered, the various foes were turned over to the authorities, and Dinosaur Island was once more left to its natural state: savage and wild, but free of the taint of human evil.
[Loot Drops: Ace's Deck (Death Touch, Paralysis Ray, Siphon), Jack's Eyeball (Laser), Major Macabre's Psycho-Sphere (Telekinesis).]
[The player characters earned 3 character points each, giving them a total of 157.]
