My lameness continues

Add Mortyr II to the list of shooter games I didn't finish. But this time it was as much because of it's general suckiness as it was the difficulty. Although it was too hard too. Takes practically an entire machine gun clip to kill one guy, and then while you wait for the painfully slow "reloading" animation, his five buddies pop a cap in your ass. No fun. Plus it was completely generic, just fighting the same Nazi soldiers over and over again. Usually after I give up on a game, I'll turn on the cheat codes and fly through the rest of it just to see how it ends, but I didn't even bother with this one.
Ah well, it was a loaner from my buddy Vic (and I think he paid like 2 bucks for it used), so at least I'm not out any cash. But my quest for an FPS that matches my miniscule skills continues. SiN:Episodes supposedly will automatically adjust the difficulty based on how well/poorly you do, but I am skeptical -- Max Payne 2 claimed to do the same thing, and that didn't work worth shit.
Yeah, yeah, I should put down the games and just draw some damn comics already. But I am so burnt out lately, I just want some simple, mindless entertainment... is that so wrong???
