Day One of A Classic Comics Christmas
Dec. 14th, 2010 07:00 pmOnce again, the gang at the CBR Classic Comics Board are participating in "12 Days of Classic Comics Christmas", where we pick our 12 favorites in a particular category. This year is "12 Favorite Newspaper Strips". You can see what everyone else chose here:

I admit, this was a tough one for me...I don't rate a lot of modern strips very highly, and I haven't read a lot of the old classics very extensively. Stuff like Pogo or Steve Canyon or Prince Valiant, I know mostly by reputation, so I wouldn't feel right putting them on my list. So this will be a pretty odd mix. My choice for day one is...
