For Great Justice
Oct. 27th, 2012 02:14 pmWith the online game "City of Heroes" due to shut down at the end of November, a lot of fans have been creating videos and other tributes. But this one is the best, because I'm in it. ;-) A player named Thor's Assassin gathered up demofiles from players on the Justice server, and he and Leandro worked some editing hocus pocus to create this amazing group shot. My Mace/Shield Brute, Mekanikron, shows up at the bottom center around 0:52. I'm gonna miss this great game, and the cool people in it.

City of Heroes fan video
Mar. 4th, 2012 06:24 pmYouTube user Samaraiko has made a lot of really cool videos based on the online game City of Heroes. Her latest effort is an unofficial trailer/preview for the upcoming expansion "Death Incarnate":
A bunch of us hopped onto the Test Server to help Samaraiko stage her footage, and my character Mekanikron has a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo around the 1:33 mark:

CoH mission poster
May. 31st, 2009 01:35 pmSome folks on the City of Heroes message boards have been creating movie-style "posters" to promote their Mission Architect stories. So, after a couple hours dicking around with screenshots in Photoshop, I came up with:

City of Heroes: How The Other Half Lives
May. 25th, 2009 11:13 amI've put up a second City of Heroes mission arc:
Arc Name: How The Other Half Lives
Arc ID: 191775
Faction: Heroes
Creator Global/Forum Name: @JKCarrier / JKevinCarrier
Difficulty Level: Easy to Moderate. No AVs.
Synopsis: It's so crazy, it just might work: Paragon City and the Rogue Isles have agreed to exchange representatives, so each can see how the other half lives. Can you take a young villain under your wing and steer them towards good? Or at least keep them out of trouble? [SFMA]
Estimated Time to Play: 60 minutes or so. 4 missions.
I think this one is stronger than my previous arc (#99458). If anyone plays it, let me know what you think!

The Unbearable Being of Lightness
Apr. 21st, 2009 10:21 pmI know there are a couple of City of Heroes players on the ol' flist, so I'll do a plug for my first Mission Architect story: Story Arc #99458, "The Unbearable Being of Lightness". It's 3 missions long, suitable for levels 5-30, with an Arch-Villain battle at the end. The plot involves the mystics of the Legacy Chain and their attempt to eliminate all evil from the world. What could possibly go wrong? ;-)
If you do play it, I'd be grateful if you voted on it and left feedback, good or bad. Thanks!
